AI experts and educators working with students in K-12 settings agree that it is really important for the education system to prepare students with the skills they need to succeed in the age of AI. ChatGPT and other AI tools have become a regular part of our lives, so educational institutions need to find ways to incorporate this technology into their teaching and learning methods in a positive and effective way, while also being aware of any potential downsides it may have.
By using AI tools in education, we can simplify teachers' lives. Tasks like adjusting texts for different levels, creating examples, generating quiz or discussion questions, and finding examples can be outsourced to AI, freeing up more time for teachers to focus on what they do best – being in the classroom and interacting with students.
